Negbeta

Inference API Terms of Service

Effective: 23 October 2026

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

These terms govern use of the Negbeta inference API at inference.negbeta.com (the “API”), operated by Negbeta Limited (“Negbeta”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14318349), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. The API serves AI language models to OpenRouter and, through OpenRouter, to its users (“you”). By sending requests to the API you agree to these terms.

If you use the API through OpenRouter, OpenRouter’s terms of service and policies also apply, and your account, billing and payment are handled by OpenRouter.

2. Acceptable use

You must use the API in line with OpenRouter’s terms of service and usage policies, the licence of the model you use, and the law. In particular, you must not:

  • use the API to create or distribute content that is illegal, including child sexual abuse material;
  • attack, overload, probe or try to bypass the security or rate limits of the API or our systems;
  • try to obtain other users’ requests or data;
  • use the API in breach of anyone else’s rights.

We may refuse, limit or stop serving requests that break these terms, that threaten the security or stability of the service, or where the law requires us to.

3. Your content and outputs

We claim no ownership of what you send to the API or of the outputs it returns. We use your content only to respond to your request, as described in our API privacy policy and API data policy, and never to train models.

Outputs are generated by AI models. They can be wrong, incomplete or offensive, and may resemble content generated for others. You are responsible for checking outputs and for how you use them. Do not rely on them as professional (for example medical, legal or financial) advice.

4. Availability and changes

We provide the API on a best-effort basis. We aim to keep it available and fast but do not guarantee any level of uptime, speed or capacity, and we may limit request rates. We may change the models offered, their settings, limits and prices (published through OpenRouter), and may suspend or end the API, with notice through OpenRouter where practical.

5. No warranties

The API is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it, including as to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

6. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under the law.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, revenue, business or data, and our total liability arising out of or in connection with the API is limited to the greater of (a) the fees paid for your use of the API in the 12 months before the claim and (b) £100.

If you use the API as a consumer, you also have legal rights that these terms do not affect.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Changes take effect when published on this page with a new “Effective” date; continuing to use the API after that means you accept them.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
